This is not only a collection of trees, but also a project to raise awareness of the existence of nature surrounding us.

This is a collective movement, where everyone can join in by submitting:

(a) a photo of a tree

(b) a 15-second sound recording at the tree

(c) the tree type, if know

We are acknowledging the nature around us that too often we took for granted. By recording the soundtrack and listening back to it, we are put in the shoes of the trees and hearing what they are hearing day in day out. By identifying the species of the tree, we go past the appearance of it and dig deeper into its origin and history.
